John Moss is a founding partner of L+A Retail where he specializes in Tenant Representation and Retail Acquisition. John’s unique ability in assisting national, regional & local retailers in developing strategies, market analysis, site selection, and deal negotiation distinguishes him as a leader in Retail Real Estate in the Gulf South Region. Moss has extensive knowledge of retailers wants and needs from home improvement to grocery & retail to restaurants which gives him command of the Gulf Coast retail markets. John seeks out development and redevelopment opportunities daily, all while providing leasing strategies for his clients.
With over 12 years of experience in the industry, he oversees and advises the L+A Tenant Rep team. John believes putting the client’s needs first in every deal is the only way to do business; he doesn’t want to do just one deal for his clients, he wants to do them all. John goes the extra mile to carefully listen to each client in order to understand their business goals before curating a development plan that optimizes their assets to achieve their objectives. John represents retail industry leaders in the Gulf South market and has played an integral part in the expansion plans for 5 Guys, Massage Envy, and Quiznos.
John is a local New Orleanian, he graduated from Metairie Park Country Day School before heading off to Ole Miss University for his Undergraduate Degree. After working for a few years as a trained chef, he moved out of the kitchen and restaurant management into the retail side of the business where he found he had even greater passions. When he’s not in the office you can find him racing sailboats, running around the bayous and islands off the coast of MS, or trying out new restaurants around the city with his wife Niki.
