Meet Will

Will Place is a founding partner of L+A Retail where he focuses on landlord representation, specialty tenant representation and managing L+A’s retail development process. Will also works with our team to drive vision and educate L+A’s next generation of talented deal makers. With over 17 years of industry experience in projects from their inception through stabilization, Place has transacted over 3.2 million square feet of retail leases and sales, and has overseen more than 525,000 square feet in retail development.

Will earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. Formerly a NEXTGEN and P3 Retail chair for Louisiana’s chapter of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Place currently serves as ICSC’s Louisiana State Director. Will resides in New Orleans, LA with a superwoman wife (Dori) and their lives are full with five children (Judah, Nora, Lucia, Lila and Levi). Will enjoys whatever activities his children enjoy, and in his (nonexistent) free time, he likes to fish, hunt, work out, cook, play tennis and cheer on the region's sports clubs.
